What we collect

Your application form: name, email, location, resume, and your answers about the tools and methods you work with.

Round 1: a detailed questionnaire about how you close a month. Timing information about how long each part took, so we can read the answers correctly.

The practical round, if you take part in it: the work you produce, the corrections you make, and how long each stage took.

What we use it for

To assess your application and decide who moves to the next stage.

Pooled with everyone else's answers, with your name removed, to build the benchmarks we measure this work against. That is what tells us what a normal month actually looks like, rather than what any one person remembers.

What we publish

We write about how this work gets done, and what we publish is drawn from pooled answers and pooled results across everyone who takes part.

We never publish an individual response, a name, an employer, a client name, or anything from a file you send us. Figures are aggregates across a group, never traceable to one person.

If you would rather your answers were not counted in that, email rs@selflyx.com and we will remove them.

Files sent in the practical round

If you take part in the practical round, anything you send is deleted within 14 days, sooner if you ask. There is a delete button on the page itself and it works immediately.

These files are not used to train any model. We do not use a provider that trains on data sent through its API.

What we keep afterwards is the result, not the file: how many corrections were made, how long each stage took, and what kind of transaction each correction was about. Nothing that identifies a client.

Retention and deletion

Application data is kept while we are still hiring for the role and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case a similar role opens.

You can ask us to delete your application and your answers at any time by emailing rs@selflyx.com. We reply on business days.
