Named access. Your review stays final.
Everything below is agreed in writing before any access begins.
We work inside the client's own file.
Work is completed in the client's own QuickBooks Online or Xero file. Nothing moves to a system you cannot see or revoke.
Named, revocable access
Accountant-user access under a named individual. Access is granted by you and can be withdrawn by you at any time.
No bank credentials
We never hold banking logins and never move money. Nothing we do requires payment authority.
No shared passwords
No shared or generic accounts. Every login is individual, with multi-factor authentication required.
How the work environment is kept.
Role-based access
People are given access only to the engagements they work on, and it is removed when they no longer do.
Encrypted devices
Work happens on encrypted machines with managed credentials.
No local copies
Records are not kept on local machines. Files are exchanged over secure transfer, never as email attachments.
Documented decisions
Work is recorded so that any treatment can be traced back and explained during review.
Signed before anything is sent.
Mutual NDA
Confidentiality covering your firm, your clients, and anything shared in either direction.
Non-solicitation
We do not approach, market to, or take on your clients directly. This is signed before any access begins, without being asked for.
Scope and correction terms
Turnaround, the correction process, ownership of files, termination and data return are written into the engagement.
Leaving is as clean as starting.
The client file is theirs and always was. On termination, access is revoked, work in progress is handed over, and nothing is held back. There are no lock-in terms.
What we do not do.
Selflyx is a bookkeeping and finance-operations provider, not a certified public accounting firm. We do not file tax returns, provide tax advice, perform audit or attest work, run payroll filings, or move money. Those stay with your firm.
