What we run for your practice.
Monthly bookkeeping and month-end close delivery. Our system does most of the work, leaving the review and sign off to our accountants. The final say stays with your firm.
Monthly bookkeeping
We categorize monthly activity and keep the accounting file organized around how the client actually operates.
- Transaction categorization
- Chart-of-accounts maintenance
- Bank and card activity reviewed
Reconciliation and close
We reconcile bank and credit card accounts, review exceptions, and complete the agreed close checklist.
- Bank and card reconciliations
- Adjustments and review
- Open questions documented
- Month-end completion
Financial statements
Financial statements tied to the completed books, ready for your review.
- Profit and loss
- Balance sheet
- Cash summary
- Month-over-month changes
Bookkeeping support
We surface what needs a judgment call instead of guessing at it, and come back to you when context is missing.
- Direct access to the person doing the work
- Batched exception checks
- Plain-language explanations
- Clearly tracked open questions
- Short monthly walkthrough
Additional detail depends on the source data.
Client, project, department, or cost-level views require consistent source records and allocation information. We only report detail the books can support, and we say so when they cannot.
Catch-up and cleanup, priced separately.
Catch-up
Historical periods brought current as a defined project with a fixed fee, so it never sits inside the monthly rate.
Cleanup
Prior-period errors, unreconciled accounts and misstated opening balances corrected before a first clean close.
Work stays in the client’s accounting system.
We use named, revocable accountant-user access to the client’s own file. We never request bank credentials or payment authority.
We do not touch tax.
We keep the books and the close ready for your firm’s tax work. We do not file returns or give tax advice.
What we do not do.
Tax and audit
No tax returns, tax advice, audit, attestation, or CPA certification.
Filings and money movement
No payroll filings, 1099 filings, sales-tax filings, bill payments, transfers, or bank administration.
Complex operations
Inventory accounting, multi-entity consolidation, ERP migrations, and full CFO work sit outside the standard engagement.
Catch-up cleanup
Historical catch-up is not part of the standard monthly close. If books are behind, we can discuss a separate scope on a call - not a fixed public offer.
A finished month instead of an unfinished ledger.
Not a DIY cleanup tool. Not a generic feed categorizer.
